Finding 4 bedroom mobile homes under 100K is like crossing a busy street with a blindfold in the rain.

It ain’t easy!

If you find some 4-bedroom options that might be under 100K, you will probably have a hard time finding a price.

Most companies don’t provide the price and want you to request a quote or enter your information.

You know what happens when you do that. The calls, emails, and text messages start pouring in, and then they may sell your information to other companies, increasing the headache of a phone that just won’t stop.

Why is finding 4 bedroom mobile homes under 100K so Dang hard?

Finding affordable housing has become a challenge and downright headache for thousands.

I see this daily as a real estate agent. It likely won’t get any easier any time soon.

Some have resorted to living with family, renting a place, or living in a place that isn’t big enough because they can’t find their perfect home with a price tag they can afford.

4-bedrooms have become much more popular because, with the increased housing costs, some people are getting roommates, having family live with them to split expenses, or have started a home business and need space the extra space.

With increased interest comes increased prices.

Disclaimer: Always verify the current price as prices change frequently.

How We Selected the Options

There likely could be many more options, but the companies won’t publicly share pricing. (Don’t blame them, it’s part of the sales cycle).

I have always appreciated companies that were transparent with their pricing and offered as much information as possible on their product so consumers could do their homework beforehand.

In my opinion, that means they likely sell a quality product and don’t need to get someone on the phone or get someone in the door to make a sale.

The product should speak for itself.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are there 4-bedroom mobile homes available?

Yes, but not as many 3-bedroom models. Many won’t sacrifice space to add a 4th bedroom and would rather have three larger bedrooms.

Do mobile homes go up in value?

It depends on a few things, such as if the structure is placed on a piece of land versus a rental lot. Contact a real estate agent to get an assessment of your property.

What type of materials are mobile homes made of?

The exterior walls are usually constructed with wood or metal frames, and the interior walls are made with drywall or paneling. Each manufacturer may use different materials, so research and compare before making a decision on your new home.

Are mobile homes the same as modular homes?

No. Mobile homes are built on a steel chassis with wheels and axles, while modular homes are built in sections off-site and assembled on-site. Modular homes also tend to be larger and more customizable.

What is the average cost of a mobile home?

The average cost of a new mobile home can range from $30,000 to $100,000 depending on the size, materials, and features included. This price does not include the land cost, or furnishings.

Can I customize my mobile home?

Yes, many manufacturers offer various customization options for their homes. Contact a local dealer to find the perfect home customized to your liking. It will cost more.

Do mobile homes come with any custom features?

You may be able to select extra design features like specialty light fixtures, a different type of floor coverings, change out appliances, or select a different paint color. Check with your local dealer.

Is a prefab and modular home the same thing?

A modular home is a type of prefab or prefabricated home. There are other types of prefab homes.
